Polyurethane Polyisocynaurate (PUR – PIR)
Polyurethane Polyisocynaurate (PUR – PIR)
PIR-Polyisocyanurate is produced as foam and used as rigid thermal insulation
PIR is like PUR-Polyurethane foam, but differentiating factor is its smoke and flame resistance. The emitted smoke of PIR is lesser than PU-Foam and slows the spread of flame while it fire. PIR having more thermal stability, flame resistance, chemical resistance and dimensional stability.
Advantages/Properties:
Lower Thermal conductivity
Excellent insulation ratings
High thermal resistance
Dimensional stability (temp.range -70 to +130Deg.)
Less water absorption, Humidity & moisture resistant.
Free from CFC and HCFC, also it is formaldehyde free.
Use/Applications:
Commercial and Industrial pipe insulations
Used as Thermal insulation in construction
Roof/Wall/Floor insulation
Cavity wall insulation
Available : Sheets/Pipe insulations.
